Where & What
Based in Camden, London, the school gives students the opportunity to learn a range of make up, hair and special effects skills. A carefully structured diploma course running over twelve weeks teaches a comprehensive range of subjects from basics, camouflage, fashion, period make up and hair to casualty, character and prosthetics.
Courses
As well as our highly regarded diploma courses, we run refresher courses and masterclasses that can be designed for those professionals already working in film, television and theatre and in media make up education to ensure that their skills, techniques and use of products are fully up to date.
Hey, Teacher !
Taught by specialists, tutor groups are small enabling students to receive individual attention. And as classes are within a working studio, students regularly have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience. The studio environment is unique and as well as many productions students are given an insight into period costumes and accessories (www.cosprop.co.uk).
With outstanding and experienced tutors including OSCAR, BAFTA and EMMY award winners the London School of Media Make Up offers the best possible training for a career in make up. We are recommended by the British Film Institute and the National Film and Television School.
